NYE is full for EPCOT and Magic Kingdom

Is there a way to be notified of when spots open for NYE at MK or EP or is the best strategy to check literally every day?

I'm not aware of any notification mechanism, so it seems that the best way is to check whenever you can, even several times a day, because people cancel and change plans constantly.

DHS not available for Dec 29 ? Special event ? (or something opening that I probably should know about !!??)

Looks like they added availability. Wide open again including Thanksgiving week which had been booked for a while
