NYE Epcot Restaurants

The CMs have a great way of keeping everyone moving so it isn’t TOO bad trying to get around, but it’s still crowded. I definitely recommend going to all the dance parties because they’re awesome. While a bunch of people sat and waited for fireworks, there were just as many who only stopped when they started. I wouldn’t recommend being inside a restaurant like Tokyo Dining during the fireworks because you lose some of the atmosphere that you get when you’re outside with everyone.

So we’re thinking maybe eat at Les Chefs since you get a view of people walking by. If we plan on getting to the park to see the first fireworks would 7:30 be an ok time for this reservation? I want to make it so if we decide to go back to our hotel we’ll make it before New Years or if we just want to watch at Epcot we can have time to wander around after

I think that's a good time if they keep the first round of fireworks at the same time

This is my first time going for NYE too, for the NYE vets: is it better to have a waterfront ADR for the late fireworks or just eat earlier and get a spot along the water (I don’t need to be front row, just tying to be relaxed). We are thinking spice road table for the cuisine and the lack of a forced expensive fixed meal.

If i do a fireworks adr, what time should I book it? 10/1030? And what time should I arrive to wait for outside/good view of the show?

Thanks!

We ate earlier and got a spot on the bridge between france and the uk. There were a lot of spaces open and it was really relaxed. The CMs do make people get up like a half hour before the fireworks and start packing together, so by the actual fireworks your really close to others and it's a bit hard to move. With firework adrs, it's hard to know when to make them and to make sure you get a seat with a clear view. Many restaurant with good views get rented out for private parties or there are dinners you can reserve and prepay for that reserve firework seating, but those are very expensive.

Le Cellier is up for NYE reservations now. No mention of fixed price, only a special menu. It says dining plan accepted, meaning it's a regular meal with slightly less options.

So, I booked it. Times are available; for how long, who knows...
