We are visiting Orlando this Christmas (18th - 2nd Jan) and can't decide where to spend New Years Eve as I've read many reports on both disney and US/IOA which all sound great.

Can anyone tell me which is the best.

We are a party of 5 (2 x fiftysomethings, 2 x thirtysomethings and 1 just turned 16 year old).

If we do decide on either US or IOA will we be able to book PS at Hard Rock or Race Rock now for that night?

Thanks.

:wave2:

It all depends. Both destinations offer a great time and activities but are completely different so you can't say one is better than the other. No matter which one you pick, you should have a wonderful time.

Hope that helps.

I would say Universal/IOA only for the thrill factor on the rides and what not, but it all depends on what you are looking for. Disney will be just as fun.

Universal/IOA would be more of a "cool" New Years IMHO...Disney would be more (don't kill me!!! :p) "magical" Muahahaha.

I say go to Universal/IOA, though I haven't never been to either park on NYE...I'm sure it'll be ultra crowded both places (which is why we've never been during then). But, I'm almost 16 (Sweet 16 in November!!!!) and I would prefer US/IOA. :)

(check out my website which is a teen's perspective of US/IOA) lol sorry, had to take advantage of the oppurtunity!!! :p
