Biergarten~~ Yay or nay for NYE:scratchin Also can anyone tell me what the price for NYE dinner?

Thank you

Definite yay from me! Infact, I've been trying to get Biergarten for NYE for the past 2 months! Enjoy! :)

My question was Yay or Nay~~ not if i was being choosey!

Merry Christmas

I think deciding Yay or Nay depends entirely on the alternatives.

Biergarten is alright, but I'd prefer something in Italy, France, or Le Cellier on NYE.

Bit curt :-(
Yay or nay has nothing to do with NYE, IMHO.
Any day of the year it is Nay for me

My response was not meant to be sarcastic and I apologize if it was perceived that way. What I meant was that it is likely too late to make a reservation for NYE if you do not have one already and therefore keep Biergarten since there will likely be no other options at this time.

Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Agree.

Since it wasn't posted that there was an existing ADR and should I keep, I would have assumed that OP is trying to book something now.

Booking now for NYE I don't think Biergarten is available at all, which makes sense for that day. And what is available is very limited. Take what you can get.

at this point NYE is a stalk the reservations and grab whatever you can get.

Thanks everyone for your help:flower3:.

I do have an ADR for Biergarten at 8pm but i also have a very early afternoon ADR for Beaches and Cream. Thus the dilemmas. I should have asked opinions as to what people thought about the food at the Biergarten. Sorry if i wasn't clear on that.

My other thought is~~ if the Kiosks are open in the Showcase we'll just eat around the countries and forget about sit down restaurant.:scratchin

Merry Christmas :santa: and a Happy Healthy New Year

:thanks:

I would keep the ADR. By 8:00 you will be happy to have a place to go! And I like Biergarten. I can make a huge salad - lots of variety in the salads section.

I imagine the atmosphere will be fun and festive too. Perfect timing when you are done to fine a good spot to watch the 11:40 fireworks

And I am very interested I this because we are going for NYE next year!!

The kiosks will be open, but I would keep both. The lines will be super long and you'll never get a walk up at a TS.

I think that people like Biergarten for the atmosphere. It is one of the few restaurants we have never tried in many, many trips, because of what I have read here. I would say, nay.

We have an 8:15 NYE ressie there and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We made late lunch ressies for VN as well so we plan on getting some quieter time in the restaurants.
Enjoy!!

Yay :D

We have spent many NYE in at WDW and in Epcot. Keep your ADR's you will want to get away from the crowds, sit down and relax a bit before heading out into the madness again.

We went last year, and while enjoyed our trip(long weekend) and hanging out with our with friends celebrating. Honestly I don't know if we will try it again for a while on NYE maybe one of the other parks or for a fancy meal at Cali Grill or some other spot... We had dinner at Chefs of France and when we came out it was like another world, There were people passed out in the restrooms stalls and on the lawn areas and throwing up over the railing around the lagoon, and the band at the dance party really wasn't all that good, maybe it was the sound equipment or something was tuned in right. We did end up leaving and heading over to the Poly and sitting in the bar area and walking out to the beach area to watch fireworks at midnight. I don't want to be a downer, but if you have little kiddos I just want you to be prepared with the dreaded what "if's"... We were all adults... and I will say if I would have had my DD's when they were little, there would have been no way DH and I would have stayed after dinner.

Our kids should been fine, almost teenagers, but I just want to make sure it's not a free for all and out of control....if someone is acting like they should be removed, it should happen.
Just because it's NYE doesn't mean let's turn Epcot into Sodom and Gamorrah!!!
