NYE dessert parties - anyone booked?

Thanks for the heads up. I checked yesterday evening (UK time) and nothing was available, spent all day travelling today, came on here for a quick check and viola! Booking now made for the 30th at 11pm.

Yup...following the wisdom of those who've gone before, I'm doing MK on the 30th for the dress rehearsal NYE fireworks, then Epcot for the actual NYE. Hopefully the fireworks schedules won't change too much this year...otherwise, I'll be shuffling this all around again once the final schedules are released

Last year the earlier party was Wishes and the later party was Fantasy in the Sky (the NYE show).

This is our plan too, we are also trying to cram in the candle light procession and the new DHS holiday event before heading to MK to see the NYE fireworks (on the 30th).

I hope this is worth it. $79 is awfully steep for some desserts. I'm only even considering it due to the added benefit of some relief from NYE-weekend crowds.

They haven't announced one yet. There's a special buffet dinner, but it doesn't include fireworks viewing.

No need for anything special at epcot. Plenty of good views of the fireworks from the world showcase.

Quite right.

But NYE gets a bit cluttered, and there is an appeal to finding a less trafficked area from which to enjoy the show.
