NYE at Broadwalk Anyone ever been?

Has anyone been to the special NYE on the green at Broardwalk? Or the special thing at Alantic DanceHall? We are arriving at WDW on the 31st and will not land until 6:00 PM. I don't we will be able to get into a park that late so was wondering what other stuff would be going on outside the 3 "parks"

I'm not sure about the outdoor event whether that's been done before but the Atlantic Dance is new. Previously, it's always been a high ticket event at Atlantic Dance ($200+ per person). The event described in the VM sounds very interesting and like it might be a lot of fun. Combined with the outdoor celebration, it seems like BW will be one big party.

Last NYE there was a juggler and clowns in the lobby from 11pm on. They also passed out hat and noise makers. It may have been because it was pouring outside and they wanted to entertain folks inside. We were waiting for DH to pick us up to return to OKW.
