Are ADRs for NYE and New Year's Day still the same to book - 180 days plus out?

Are there any particular meals that are harder to get? We'll be arriving on NYE so I won't be able to make the ADRs any more than exactly 180 days out!

What about New Year's Day? Does LTT or GG do anything special? Anywhere that does a New Year's Day type meal? Gotta have greens for money and black eyed peas for luck. :teeth:

We spent 2003-2004 and 2004-2005 NYE at Epcot and MGM respectively. We called right at the opening(then 90 days) for Teppanyaki and Brown Derby. We wanted late seated at 8:30pm and had no problems. With longer window this may become an issue even at the earliest day. I would decide what park I wanted to be at and make a ADR as soon as you can. Remember that MK has been at capacity and closed to all guests(including resort guests) by 10 am the last 3 years. We were able to park hop from MGM to epcot in early afternoon with no problesm

Thanks for the tip. I wonder if and if so when Epcot reached capacity?

I think I've heard that Epcot has only reached capacity once, for the 1999/2000 NYE, but I definitely could be wrong. Epcot has a large capacity :) Our friend met us there around 6pm this past year and had no trouble getting in.

If you have a ressie at MK...say LTT for New years eve & didn't want to enter the park till the ressie time...is that possible if the park is "closed" earlier?? In other words can I get into a closed park for the resie I have for dinner?? Or do I have to plan on being there all day?
