BF has been wanting to go to NYC. So do I. He's treating me to Vegas, I just found an affordable DING for us to fly into Long Island. I thought I might treat us to a weekend in NYC.
I know you'd have to hop onto the train thingie in Long Island to take into Manhattan (I don't know what it's called)
but I am just wondering, from those who are experienced, is this itinerary would make any sense and be worth the effort?
Fly into Long Island and land at 1:05 PM Saturday.
Have a flight back out of Long Island on Monday at 4:25.
We don't want a LOT of time. More time to see the park, times square. He's never been, I have.
So how much time do you lose on the train? Is it worth it??
(BTW The Dings would be $330 for BOTH of us which is why I'm even thinking of doing this in the first place!)
