ok who here is in NYC? I think there are a bunch of us :cool1:

I'm sitting in midtown near GCT right now.

I'm on LI, but my dh is at work in manhattan I think on 20th???? street in gramercy - he works at the Police Academy

I'm not in NYC..but my husband is there at work now-he's on West 42nd St.

Hi! :wave2: I'm at 5 Penn Plaza, which is on 33rd & 8th. Right across from MSG & the main post office--I can see them out my window!

ETA: we should have a NYC/LI meet!

My office is on 19th and PAS. I live more mid-town, though!

Well, I'm not in NY but my best friend works at 6th & 57th. Hopefully, I'll be there a month from now. :flower:

Rosa Mexicana, here I come!

yum!!! ooh now i want their guacamole. IMO though, maryann's has the best margaritas.

we live in westchester but i'm a metro north rider. pre-kids we lived on the upper east side (and wished we lived in the village or upper west)

I'll be there on a bus trip this Saturday.

South Street Seaport - Umberto's - McSorley's - find bus.

(Shows and shopping are for tourists!)

Ever try Agave in the Village? They're not straight traditional Mexican like Rosa, more Southwestern, but the food is incredible. I seem to remember that TimeOutNY or NY magazine ranked them best tequila bar in the city a couple years ago. I highly reccommend it!

I need to check out Agave - sounds awesome!

there's also a maryann's on the upper east side in the 70s.

Yeah...you'll love it!

I have no idea what's going on on the UES at all. The only time I ever spent any real time over there was when my daughter was born at Mt. Sinai, otherwise, I'm lost! ;)

Another wife whose husband works in NYC, well at least when he isn't traveling anyway. His office is on W57th street.

Me too! Water St, near Broad St! A few blocks from South Street Seaport.
