They do the group entry for the Women's Nike Marathon in San Francisco.

I wish they moved the lottery date up! I know that they just did the race, but I really want to know if I can plan my trip for next year already.

I would recommend going ahead and getting a hotel reservation. You can always cancel it if necessary, but the hotels go quickly - especially the ones that are more convenient to the marathon and expo.

I pulled out. I'll have guaranteed entry via the 9+1 for 2012, so when they gave us the option to withdraw when they disclosed the oh-so-tiny odds, I gladly took my $11 back.

Didn't get in via lotto either. I might have a shot of getting a bib but I don't think I'll know for sure for a bit. Worse case I'll do Hartford or Philly...but there's nothing like NYC.

I'm doing the 9+1 program for 2012, so I know I'll be in for sure for next year

Along with most of my WISH friends (not all), I did not get selected either. This was my 3rd year in the lottery, so 2012 is IT!

Sounds like quite a few pople will be in for 2012. If they take my Martian Marathon half time then I may be able to get in. So maybe I'll do a Boston /NY doubleheader, so to speak.

My dad did that back in '09, and I think that's his plan for next year as well. So fun!

Yep! I figured I used up my lottery luck getting into the NYC Half this year. Couldn't believe I did that!!
