DD and her friends (2) are going to NYC Dec 3-6 and the rates are outrageous! More than usual!

Anyone seen anything resembling an 'ok' price anywhere?

Try Hotwire. We're staying December 13-14 and got the Warwick for $159 (normally $300 or so).

I think the tree lighting is exactly why they want to go! Bad timing..jeeez

The ones I glanced at looked very clean and they seem to be in midtown, which is where a lot of the action is. Hope they have a great time!

My parents were in town recently, and stayed in a four-star hotel for $139 a night through Priceline. I highly recommend it. You can choose the area and the level of hotel. They were thrilled.
