NYC announcement?

So, is there still going to be the big announcement in NYC today? anyone heard anything yet?

It already happened earlier today. Disney has come up with a new promo to get people into the parks. Throughout 2009, anyone in the world can get in free for one day to a WDW or Disneyland park on their birthday. Applies only to the one with the birthday not anyone with that person.

Yep, it is clever. If it goes as planned, it will get Disney some big free publicity (already happening) and some additional guests into the park and usually that birthday person will have one or more with them paying for tickets and all will buying Disney stuff in the park.

Of course, on the other hand, every street person in Florida and surrounding states could show up on their birthday.
