NY to WDW best stop over?

We are trying to plan a trip for spring break of 2003. We are leaving from Newburgh, NY approx. 60mi north of NYC, we would like to get a good chunk of the driving done on the first day, stay overnight at a STARWOOD hotel, and have a short run the next day (5-6hrs).

I guess route 95 is our best route... any suggestions of a good stayover point?
