NY Sales Office?

I got the email too. We're only 15 mins from the mall. My DD said I should work there for the summer (I'm a teacher) because I love it so much!!!!

Actually. I'm more excited because it will let me have my "Disney Fix" whenever I visit the mall.

What is it ? Just a sales office to buy into DVC? What's the point of going there if we already own it ?

Well...I will be applying for the job and even if I don't get the hired it would be great just to talk to the guides to keep up with any new info . I also do shop at that mall once in a while too!!

Well this old news now, but I saw some kind of pod cast with an interviiew with Jim Lewis about a month ago that sounded like the deal in NY was imminent, but did not have the deal inked yet, so couldn't disclose.

I think that it pretty much coming straight from DVC.

I only live about 10-15 minutes away from Roosevelt Field. I am there like every other day.

I knew about this exact location a few months ago. My guide told me about it when I purchased in November. It was all hush hush back then.

I hope I at least get called for an interview!

welllllllll, there's an empty store right next to the disney store in RF (where kaybee was). it would be a good spot, imho.

i figure they'll prob get about a gazillion apps for just a few positions, but like they say, "you never know"

It'll take up lots of room, doesn't seem like there's enough space up there for it (especially with the "balcony" overlooking the lst floor)???

I think it is where the old fao was. suppose to be like 7000 sq feet

The location would be great considering it's right next to the Disney Store, but the old KBee is kinda small for a DVC Preview Center, IMHO.

A friend of mine read the application criteria. They seem to be looking for people with marketing degrees and at least 3 yrs sales experience plus working, nights, weekends, travelling, etc. This is a lot more than the greeters in the Disney stores! I guess they want heavy-duty sales people.
