Getting close!!!

I know.... looks like the weather will be cooperating, fingers crossed Right now looks like 70 degrees and sunny, I wish it was a little warmer than that, but, I'll take it.

I got an email from Jen yesterday and it looks like the final count is:
29 adults
11 kids
so we definatley are FULL!!!! Very exciting for the first one!

My kids are ready! My 8 year old daughter is simultaneously excited and suspicious. My 4 1/2 year old son doesn't quite get that we can't go on Soarin' on Sunday.

Oh, got a question. Looks like Roosevelt Field Mall is something Deb may want an hour or so after the D2D event to check out.

Will there be an hour or two in between until the "after event" seven miles away?

It really is perfect weather, I didn't want it to be too hot, like it was two weekends ago when it was 90 degrees or so, and I didn't want it cold and raining.

Roosevelt Field Mall is very large and has a lot of great stores. I expected people would want to check it out - that's why I made up a handy dandy printout of directions from the mall to our house which I will either email you or hand you on Sunday - whichever you want.

So as we are rapidly approaching our event on Sunday, and I will be doing some shopping and preparations, I do have to ask if anyone has any food issues, things you will not eat, things that will make you sick, allergies, aversions, irrational fears......

I do know we have one vegetarian - and I have accounted for that.

Being a NJ-ian, I don't think I've actually gone to Long Island for anything over than a concert. This wold be a great reason too!


There's another DIS meet in Bryant Park, NYC on June 19th, if you are so interested. We are going to be doing vinlymation trading too.
