He doesn't like to do the outdoor stuff, but he got a new powerwasher on Friday so he cleaned everything in the backyard, the deck, front yard, the car, the driveway.......He likes delegating work better- yesterday he had my father up on a ladder cleaning the gutters, lol.

I just got an email from Jen at D2D. She gives the following info:

"Regarding the entrance to the mall. The main doors to the mall open early for the mall walkers. I would have guests park on the second level of the south parking garage. They can enter the mall here and head down the Nordstrom wing. We are located on the Second floor, Nordstrom Wing."


If anyone else is interested in coming, please let me know - we are very close to "full" status.

I posted a thread on the DVC boards, and have had a big response there, many families have contacted me that they will be coming.

Well, technically we aren't full anymore as one family backed out today, but, I am in the process of trying to fill their spots. As this is the first one, I'm not overly concerned with filling every spot. I guess you could say we are the guinea pigs for these kinds of events, lol.. As for the bbq, those on the DVC thread are more than welcome to come, but, I'm not too sure they would be too keen on going to a total strangers house, but, hey, you never know.

I just got a call from my new DVC Guide, Kim. She mentioned that DVC has a new D2D store in Long Island and that she would be based there.

I asked if she would by any chance be there on the morning on May 16th. After a second of silence, she said she would. I told her I would be there with Andrea and the DIS Group. She was pretty excited and are all looking forward to meeting us. She is also a Diser!

This is going to a lot of fun!
