NY/LI/NJ **Doorway to Dreams DIS Meet 5/16***NOW FULL***

The mall doesn't open until 11am. Does this make sense?

The mall in Chicago doesn't open until after our meet starts either. Doorway to Dreams lets us in before the mall opens. This way it has less impact on their potential sales as well as ensuring we are an exclusive group. We get the fun all to ourselves.
I assume that the Long Island location will adhere to similar practices. There was a gentleman at the last Chicago meet that was training to open the LI store. Nice guy. A real hoot! Y'all will have a blast!

Todd is exactly right.... The people at D2D Long Island are basically doing the exact same format as the Chicago meets (seeing as they have worked so well!) I think it may include breakfast, but, I'm not 100% positive on that just yet.

They have provided different things each time I have gone. But it was like a 'continental' breakfast at a hotel. Muffins, coffee cake, cookies, soda, water, coffee, tea, cocoa.

Same situation here. 3am is pretty darn early.

We'd be there in a heartbeat if it was scheduled for early afternoon but I don't think we're going to be able make it to a meet, that far away, that early in the morning.

Darn, I just realized that I can't make this one! And I was hoping to be able to. But that is the day my dear little brother finally graduates college, and so, I'll be there instead. But I will definitely see/meet a lot of you in Hershey in August. Guess I'll just wait till then. But I'll be there in spirit, since sitting in a hot crowd of people with my kids complaining "are they done yet?" will not be as much fun as hanging with my DIS friends!

Darn, I just realized that I can't make this one! And I was hoping to be able to. But that is the day my dear little brother finally graduates college, and so, I'll be there instead. But I will definitely see/meet a lot of you in Hershey in August. Guess I'll just wait till then. Just wanted to let you know that you guys got a shout out by Derrik at the Chicago D2D Meet on Sunday. He was glad/excited/pleased that we were a part of making the D2D stores successful as well as being 'guaranteed' Disney fans who enjoy/love Disney.
At each of the three D2D meets I have attended, you could tell that the D2D cast members were feeding off our energy and having fun, not just doing their job. I really wish I could have made it out to the LI store. Perhaps the next one.....

Hey George! People love Vincent's Clam Bar. I think it's just OK...but, don't go by me because we usually don't eat Italian food out. Vinny is very particular about his sauce, and Italian food in general. They did have pretty good fried calamari there so that is a big plus.

Ok, speaking of sauce. I saw a preview for the Real Housewives of NJ this week and they were getting ready to make the sauce, and the dad was asking the ladies if it was their time of the month, because if it was, they weren't allowed to help. Something about it spoils the sauce. I was cracking up!!!
