NWA - Airline Ticket Protector Ins?

Does anyone know anything about the ticket insurance for NWA? It's provided by Access America. For the Comprehensive Trip Protector plan, it is $16.50 per person, and can be added anytime up until our departure day (we aren't flying until 2/08). It includes:

Trip Cancellation/Interruption Up to amount trip cost +
Emergency Medical/Dental $10,000
Emergency Medical Transportation $50,000
Travel Delay $200
24-Hour Hotline Included
Travel Concierge Included

Any thoughts? Anyone use this? Is it worth it? I am just concerned because we will be purchasing flights so far in advance (I am a big chicken about playing the airfare price game and we are traveling over President's Week so we will probably buy our tickets out of MSP soon - they are at $268 pp now).

I would be inclined to buy general trip insurance instead, which is a bit more expensive, but also covers other non-refundable costs.

The best place I have found is www.insuremytrip.com. They have various packages and a wide price range.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I can't see what more they cover than the plan through NWA, and the cheapest plan is almost twice as much as the one through NWA. What am I missing? All I am concerned about is the cost of the tickets, I don't care about the medical, etc. covereages...
