I'm down here now and the whole coast is beautiful. I had to drive DH to the new airport in Panama City Beach yesterday and the whole coast from the Alabama line east is in great shape. The seafood is as good as always too!

We camped out at Fort Pickens (Gulf Islands National Seashore) last weekend...was a little hot, but the water was beautiful...with a nice breeze.

We should be in the hotel in Ft. Walton by 3:00 Friday and at The Red Bar in Grayton Beach for dinner by 6:00 or so. It's all I wanted for my birthday. White sand and a great dinner!

Can't wait!!!

We love The Red Bar. We went there for lunch last year. Great food and atmosphere. There was a good bluegrass band playing on the day we went.
