1) Disney does not have to give this out.
2) So, they don't.
3) Too worried that people will not buy.
4) And, only a few FAST FOOD restaurants at WDW hand out Nutritional Values.
5) Allergy info is readily available, nutrition "stuff" isn't.

Disney doesn't provide it but if you are trying to track the go to advice is to use something from an equivalent restaurant. So for QS think fast food. At TS I break it down by ingredients (sometimes at QS too) when I put it in MyFitnessPal. Then I adjust based on how much I actually ate (so may play for 8 ounces but only eat 6 etc).

BoG used to but for some reason I cant even find theirs anymore. Some places will have allergy info in a book and some of those will list nutritional values but not most (and usually thats more for snacks). I wish they did... Im not in the "im on vacation for a week" situation, but rather visit Disney quite frequently as I live here. It'd be nice to know what I was eating!

Some favorites - like Dole Whips you can find nutritional info on; Starbucks for instance you can quickly find out how you are drinking the equivalent of 5 glasses of wine in one sugary drink. I'm pretty health conscious and apply my real world eating to Disney - I eat terribly awful calorie traps - hello, bone marrow, and scallops cooked in a load of butter! - but I just don't eat huge portions. Ever. You'll get the knack of it and GOOD FOR YOU that you're not falling into the false impression that you're somehow burning it off by walking. Yeah, its gives you some leyway, but that's not a panacea.

I justify all the calories by convincing myself I am walking/sweating it all off.

My body usually tells me when it's had enough junk. I start craving those Power Packs (aka toddler meal) that are woefully not served in every park.

Calorie-wise, you don't wanna know.

Diet, health condition, etc. - let Disney know and they'll send out a chef at a Table Service and/or provide you with a special menu.

I will say this - as someone who is perpetually dieting or eating healthy, I never really gain weight at Disney and I always eat everything I want. You walk so much that the joke "there's no calories at Disney" almost seems true. You'll see an uptick in weight due to the massive amounts of sodium, but it's just water weight and will more than likely go down in a few days.

1) Yes.
2) Old Restaurant gimmick - add a lot of sodium to make things taste better than they are, and increase revenue.
3) There is SCIENTIFIC evidence.
. . . the four tastes are salty-sweet-sour-bitter . . . (add umami if you are Japanese)
. . . salt and sweat hit "pleasant" reactors in the mouth and tongue
. . . these reactors send specific signals to the brain that "this is good food"
4) EXAMPLES OF THE PRACTICE
. . . salted popcorn at theaters to sell more soda
. . . salted nuts in bars to sell more drinks and beers
. . . high sodium levels in meat at WDW (such as Le Cellier), to make the food taste better than it truly is
. . . selling more drinks and soda at WDW by increasing the sodium levels

So does a person who has high blood pressure and diabetes even have a chance at Disney??? Trying to eat healthy on upcoming trip in 9 days, and worried as heck about all the sodium in the food!

In my regular life I like to know calorie counts. But not on my Disney trips. I prefer not to feel guilty about all the food I'm cramming in my face
I believe a good compromise would be for Disney to publish nutrition information online; it seems this would be doable, at least for counter service restaurants because the menus seldom change. Those who don't want to know how many calories they are eating would not have to see the information on the posted menu, but those who need (or simply want) nutrition information would be able to access it. But I agree with TheRustyScupper that Disney likely won't provide nutrition information unless it is required to do so.

Even if the menu itself does not change, suppliers do, so even QS nutritional information is not a constant.

At sit down restaurants ask to speak with the chef. At the quick service places it really isn't that hard to figure out what is healthy. Chicken nuggets don't vary that much in their health value, I'm thinking.

1) Actually, they do.
2) The "adult" ones are usually cut chicken breasts which are breaded.
3) The "kid" versions are usually liquefied chicken, formed, and breaded. (THINK: Hot Dog insides)

I'm not to concerned about calories as to the amount of carbs in the meal. I have to take meds that vary to that count. I know that most restaurants can't give a precise count. It's always a ballpark figure even when cooking at home and I take that into consideration.
Thanks though for all the answers.

But I would never assume either to be "healthy".
