Nutrition question - Evening race (30K)

I have a 30K race next Saturday that starts at 5:30PM. I've done shorter races in the evening but nothing this long. Would I eat regular breakfast and then something more substantial around 3:00PM? I'm worried about the time I should be eating and how much I should be eating. I want to make sure I eat enough and have it digested but I don't want to have an upset stomach either.

What you propose sounds reasonable. I would make the 3pm meal similar to what you know works for a long morning run.
 
Ah - it's probably going to be a lunch of oatmeal, toast and other breakfast things :)

One thing to consider is depending on when breakfast is, you may want to put in a light lunch around 11:00 - 11:30. Going all day on 2 "breakfasts" might not be enough.
