Hi there!

This is my first time going to WDW, my DK's LOVE Nutella and I'm pretty sure you can buy it in the States, but I just bought a brand new jar - can I take this across the border or is this a forbidden item?

We're driving BTW, so a quick sandwich if they're hungry is essential!

Thanks!

No reason for it to be forbidden. Happy nutella-ing!

Nutella is not as common in the US (I am from Germany so it is really easy for me to buy it usually!) Prices vary greatly too - I have seen it $7 a jar for what is $3-4 a jar in Canada.

AND the consistency seems different. As a Nexus holder, I CANNOT fly with any food across the border, and have to buy Nutella in the US. After a few days, it becomes thicker and a little gluey, not like the Canadian version. I have compared ingredients and they appear to be the same however..... before the EU regulations, Austrians would cross the border at my corner of Bavaria to buy their Nutella in Germany as it was better than that in Austria.

Here is something for you to enjoy - the 3kg holiday jar sold in Europe

OMG I would love to have found that under the tree this year! Thank so much for the info - I guess I'll bring my own jar!
