I just know that one of my fellow, crazy disers has measured the window at the Pop!!!!!!!!

Care to share the dimensions?

From the photos, it looks like the door and the window are about the same size. A standard door is about 30", maybe 36"???

I'm going to be at Pop next week, and would like to decorate with mickey head garland, but was hoping to get an estimate on the width of the window, so I make the garland long enough to drape nicely....

Anyone know????????

Wider than the door, maybe this pic will help you. I had a string of mickey lights across the top, went down a foot on both sides of top (I left the string of lights with the next person in my fridge swap, so I dont' know how long it was exactly. I can tell you the Minnie bag is 22inches ear to ear and 17 inches bow to chin.

DD is about 50 inches tall.

turning40withMickey, thank you so much. This helps alot!

From your pic, I'm estimating that the Pop window is about 44" wide, as I'm assuming that you centered the Minnie bag in the center of the window.

And I'm thinking that the length of the window is about 60". I'm not too concerned with the height of the ledge of the window, but my guess it's between 2-3 feet above the floor.

And BTW, your window is very nicely decorated! How did you attach the mickey heads to the window? It doesn't look like you used tape, or if you did, it was not noticeable at all.

Yes, the bag is centered, and I think 44 inches is pretty accurate. The window ledge is very narrow. This window shows toys from McD's mainly, we had a larger dalmation toy that wouldn't stay on the two-three inch ledge. We had two rooms, the other room had small stuffed disney animals on the ledge. I did use tape on the mickey heads (home depot paint swatches) I just used a small piece on an ear or between them, and they were very easy to remove (and will now be used in the disney scrapbook). I used a suction cup for the minnie bag, and the other window had the light string, also held up with suction cups. I took a timer so the lights were on in the morning (we did the early hours each day, so got up really early) and the lights greeted us when we returned after dark. It was so easy to find our rooms! I saw a lot of other windows with towel critters or small disney animals, but ours really stood out. Have fun!

Turning40withMickey....LOVE your window.GREAT job ! Guess I'll have to start gathering decorations for our window for next month. Even though we're adults, gotta LOVE the mouse !

Thanks! Our windows made us smile every day! If you have little figurines like the McD's ones, they are perfect, pack easily and fit the sill well. We had many small stuffed Mickey's etc that also worked. The mickey head paint swatches from Home Depot added color and pizzaz really well. I had a string of Mickey lights that I decided afterwards were overkill, and I left them for the next person in my fridge swap, but I did like that they welcomed us back each evening (I had them on a timer).

Here is our other window, taken later in the day/week (the first one fogged in the humid air right out of the air conditioned room.)

Did you determine the size of the windows @Pop??? We are going at Christmas and want to decorate our windows!!!:santa:
