Has anyone ever tried to get a nut-free birthday cake at WDW? We haven't planned our next trip yet, but when we do, it may be on or near my kids' birthdays and one of my children has a peanut/tree nut allergy. It would be great to be able to get a safe cake.

Thanks!

Ordering? or from a restaurant?

DW is allergic too, the CM's went above and beyond to make sure whatever dessert she was having didn't have nuts - more Disney magic...

If you are eating in a Disney resturant give central reservations a call and see about ordering a special cake.

I'd be happy either ordering a cake to eat in the room or at a restaurant.

Thanks for the advice. I will call central reservations and ask about cakes if we end up taking a birthday trip.
