Nurse your baby in WDW restaurants?

I can say with complete certainty that you can nurse your baby in WDW restaurants (and anywhere else you want for that matter). I have two kids, and both have nursed all over WDW (dd at 4 months and 19 months/ds at 6 weeks and 20 months). No one has ever said anything or given me any indication that they were uncomfortable. I am a very discreet nurser, so most people probably never knew what the baby was doing

My tip would be to try and dress appropriately for nursing in public. I found that my babies would throw a towel or blanket off of their heads, which could expose more that I was willing to share with strangers. Plus, the towel/blanket adverstises what you are doing (if that makes you uncomfortable). Either wear nursing tops or simply and tank top with a button down shirt over it. The baby's body covers your stomach when you lift the tank top, the tank top covers the top of your breast, and the other shirt covers your side from anyone's view.

Good luck and have a great trip!

I agree 100%. and to the OP if I even notice someone BF it makes me smile and brings back sweet memories of when my "babies" were babies.

Have a wonderful magical trip.

I think that nursing is just fine, I see no reason why nursing should be a problem. The only thing that really bothered me was the hate towards people who use a bottle; I unfortunately HAD to use a bottle rather than nurse, and almost starved my child when I tried nursing. It makes me sad that there's the reverse prejudice going on... :sad1:

As it's been said before, can't we all just get along? ;)

It is against the law in Florida to tell a mother where or when she can or can't nurse her baby. If the mom is comfortable, and those with her are comfortable, then there is no reason that it cannot be done discreetly, and no one around the nursing mom should ever be the wiser. Pretty much, anywhere a nursing mom wants to nurse, is OK!

That being said, if a mom is uncomfortable, she may ask the hostess, waitstaff or other CM if there is a comfortable womens restroom that may have a chair or bench. I know that there are in the deluxe resorts.

All of the parks have Baby Stations complete with formula, diapers, comfortable chairs, etc.

At DTD, unfortunately there is no dedicated Baby Station, or anywhere to purchase diapers, food, formula for your child, so please come prepared. If you need to nurse, and want privacy, you are more than welcome to ask a castmember in any of the clothing shops to unlock a dressing room for you.

and we nursed all over the world!!! mostly in the shows or on TTA in tomorrowland....but also in restaurants & waiting for the bus. no one said a word & i got no dirty looks.....
