OK past Disney Brides how about posting for your wedding:

1. The number one thing you wished you had done
Gotten a vintage car for bride & groom transport to the ceremony—I forgot the hideous limo would be in a bunch of our pictures!


2. The number one thing you were glad you did
Had a dessert party after the wedding.


3. The number one thing you wished you had not done
Paid for the soda & water drink package. We would have saved a ton by doing Biil-on-Consumption.

I don't really have strong feelings about any of these in particular, but here we go:

Wished I had done:
Had photography at Sago Cay (our wedding night dinner) instead of photography at Morocco (welcome party)

Glad I had done:
Had a dinner reception at Sago Cay. I think the beauty of this site is highly underrated and it really surprised myself and all my guests. I'm also glad I used a rehearsal menu for this dinner and saved a lot of $$$. None of the guests had any idea, and all said it was the best meal they ever had!

Wished I had not done:
Because of all the info on these boards and the Passporter book, I think I made the best decisions I could with the money I had and what I wanted, so I don't have strong regrets about anything! (Besides the wish I had done).

 

[Bride-to-be]

1. The number one thing you wished you had done
I wish we had the Roots take pictures of people (not just food) at our cocktail party and I wish they were on the fireworks cruise with us. It was my favorite part of the wedding and def our biggest mistake. It was the best part and we have no pictures

2. The number one thing you were glad you did
I am glad we were able to keep Bill as our planner. Thats def #1. I am also really happy with all of the vendors we used.

3. The number one thing you wished you had not done I wish we had had an ipod for our ceremony - the $4k band was a complete waste. I wish we skipped the breakfast at V&As, I only have bad memories from it. I also wish we didn't have so many characters. If I were doing it again it would just be Mickey and Minnie.
