Number of Units in SSR?

Does anyone know how many units are in SSR? Is it bigger than Coronado Springs?

Please excuse my ignorance - please explain the difference between total rooms and total units and dedicated room and a lock out.

Total units are the number of Dedicated Studios, Dedicated 1BRs, Dedicated 2BRs, Lock0ff 2BRs and GVs at each DVC resort. The total rooms is the total of the above with the lock-offs divided into studios and 1BR villas.

A lockoff unit is a 2BR villa which may be divided (each with it's own private exterior entrance). There is a connecting door between the Studio and 1BR villa which allows access to both areas making it a 2BR. There are some minor differences in a dedicated and lockoff 2BR which make some people enjoy one over the other.

People are always talking about how big SSR is. However.....

...according to The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World:

Coronado Springs has 1967 guest rooms, all at 314 square feet.
Port Orleans Riverside -- 2048 room, 314 square feet. ("Riverside is so large that we use bicycles whenever we work there....")
Animal Kingdom -- 1293 rooms
Caribbean Beach -- 2112 rooms
Polynesian Resort -- 853 rooms
Grand Floridian -- 867 rooms
