Number of strollers ok to gate check?

If we go in Dec to WDW, we will be bringing 2 strollers, Maclaren Volo and I hope a light weight stroller that can accommodate a 6-7 week old. Does anyone know how many strollers you are allowed to gate check.

The stroller is considered your child's "luggage" so you can check one per child in my experience. Never had a problem gate checking two with my DS and DD. I even gate checked a double jogging stroller with no kids when I was traveling to Guatemala to live with my kdis during their adoption.

Unless something has changed, strollers do not count towards either your checked or carry on baggage allowance. That said, I don't know that they have a set allowance for the # of strollers you can have. We have taken 2 before for 2 kids, so I'm assuming you can have at least one per child.

We have always gate checked 2 strollers and never had a problem. If you check them as baggage (before going thru security), then they count as baggage. But gate checking has never, ever been an issue!
