Number of dining credits

If we have an 8 night reservation and have the Disney Dining Plan, do we get 8 quick service and 8 table service credits or do we get 9 quick service and 9 table service? Since we will be in the parks for 9 days, only 8 credits would be short so one day would be paid OOP so I'm hoping for 9.

It's based on the number of nights. So you should get 8 for an 8 night stay.

Its based on nights so if you are staying 8 nights then you get 8 that you can use from check in day until 11:59pm check out day.

It is number of nights, so it will be 8. But it always works for us.
We have 1st TS on arrival night and our last QS on departure day.
For our 7 nights stay, we really have 6 full days and 2 half days which make up the 7 night, 8 day vacation. The credits work out fine that way
