Just returned from an awesome trip to WDW on Saturday and just booked AKL for next year!

They are completely different resorts as far as booking is concerned. Standard room is Jambo House. Kidani is a DVC resort so the smallest units are deluxe studios.

Hi all! We're checking into Kidani at around 8 or 9 am and then heading to Hollywood Studios for a 1:30 lunch. Any advice on what we should do after checking in? I know there are balconies or areas where you can look out on the wildlife... just wondering if there's anything else that we might want to check out or if anyone has a favorite tradition or spot to visit their first morning at Kidani.

Yes. You can still book Kidani rooms through the Disney website sometimes, but they would show up as deluxe studios and then their booking category (standard view or savannah view).
