can we say the "R" word yet boys and girls?
Nope. The "R" word is used (sparingly) after many months of negative growth (?) in the economy. We are not even close. The last couple of months may have been recalculated "downward", but they were still overall positve in the economic growth rate.
BUT, back to the OP:
This is a total !&#^ !@*&#$^ by the Air Force. It demonstrates a lack of institutional control and accountability when it comes to some aspects of nuclear weapon control............
HOWEVER, as a guy who was once a certified Nucler Weapons Delivery Officer in the US Navy, I can state with absolute certainty (for reasons that can't be printed here...........) that the chance of a nuclear weapon detonating in this instance was 0.0000000.
"Thousands could have been killed". Yep. Sure could. But that could happen thousands of times a day with all the other airliners full of jet fuel careening out of control over our heads. The Horror of it all.
Trust me. Careers are already flushing down the toilet over this.
And since obviously President Bush is absolutely personally responsible for this and should be impeached for this, shouldn't we also charge President Clinton for manslaughter when ther US military planted a cruise missile into the side of the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade in 1999? After all, he WAS responsible for the day-to-day operations of the US Military, was he not? You cannot have different standards of accountability based on your personal and political beliefs & animosity.
