Now What!

I have downloaded PhotoImpact for free for 30 days! But I want to create some really neat stuff. I don't know where to begin, does anyone have real basic directions for me. I would love to take the time to DISign some to those great name signs, and other "pictures" that I could use for t shirts and invitations for my 2 boys.

Also "Santa" will be giving the next Disney trip to them, any ideas? (poems, sayings etc to explain that the trip is a HUGE present for them on Christmas Morning

I am still fairly new to PhotoImpact 12 also, and I remember how hard it was to start. What I did when I first started was download (and save on my hard drive) clip art and images that I liked. Then I would copy the image to a "new page" in PhotoImpact. After the image was on the page I tried to think of some way to embellish it: add text, outline it, put a background with it... After I decided what I wanted to do, I would look that "subject" up in the PhotoImpact Help section. However, I should warn you, the program's index is not always helpful. You might also want to do a search for PhotoImpact tutorials. One site I found was Wishing Well. Just be patient and keep trying. Eventually it will become easier.
