The fact is, there's TOO much available to do in the Orlando area during the average family's vacation time. Unless one has a month of vacation time, as some from the UK and continental Europe do, you have to pick and choose. I haven't been to Universal Orlando yet - being "high on pixie dust" - but will probably spend 1 or 2 days there with my son next March.

You're right about being too much to do here. It used to be 3-4 days would do it but now it's more like a week at least.

and also,, umm,, a day at Bush gardens is worth a trip! they have the coolest wooden coaster there! plus a few other neat rides.

*sigh* way too much to do in Orlando,, we spent one day just hitting the 'off' stuff. like titanic, etc. & my hubby loves the 'drive-em' yourself swampbuggies over down kissimmee on 192.

(Plus we have purchased 4 of our cars down there while on vacation,,, & hauled them back to Ohio)

my favorite time was last year when we got special AP pricing for the Royal Paciifc of $119 a night.. river side.. dang, havent seen that pricing agin.. *pout*
