Josie cracks me up....and reminds me of Jasmine at that age...she wanted to do the thrill rides over and over much to my sisters dismay!!

What a difference between the first pineapple and the second....happy boys!

I always think about pictures after and then I get mad at myself. Year before last I hardly had any pool pictures....come to think of it, I don't know if I did take any, maybe just my sis did.

Another great update my friend!! I wanted to check in before leaving for the grad this morning! Jasmine put her dress on yesterday so I could practice doing it up...it has the corset back and I'm glad I got some practice time in....took me a few tries to get into the groove

nice update!!! Not that it will matter so much for your next trip but if you go to Guest Relations when you enter the park, they will do an "official measure" and give DD a wristband with her height on it so it won't be such an issue when you go on the rides!

Did you go back to TOT and tell the man that she loved it?! I would have haha!

Wow Josie is turning out to be such a daredevil thrill ride junkie! Tell her that Mrs. Lisa said she is much braver than me. It took me 14 trips to WDW before I ever tried TOT!

The pineapple #1 and the pineapple #2 pictures are hilarious. You can definitely tell they were feeling it in the second picture.

It sounds like you had a perfect ending to a great day! Nothing better than spending down time with family and friends.

Shoot, I still haven't gotten up the nerve to try ToT!!! What a brave girl!!!

I can't believe the CM was giving you a hard time. That would have made me question myself, too. Of course, it's not like the requirements say 40 inches in BARE FEET. Geez.

I love the pineapple pics. DH got me one of those when we ate at Ohana this trip. It took me forever to drink it. It was SO strong. I'm sure that they were feeling pretty good by the time #2 was done.

I'm sorry that CM gave you a lecture about taking Josie on ToT. He must have felt it was his duty to warn you. I would have been going crazy with guilt, too in my head after that! I'm glad she loved it and had no problems with it!


A quick dip in the pool on a hot day can be just the thing!

Great update! I would have been feeling worried and guilty too if the CM had questioned me - it's not like she was screaming and crying about not wanting to go on (which I have seen happen and the CMs have done nothing). She wanted to ride, she met the height requirement, her parents were with her and were fine with her riding....geez...he is apparently not a fan of the ride, maybe??? Who knows!!! Glad she loved it! My 5 year old did as well!! She looked petrified but got off of it giving it two thumbs up and now says it was her favorite ride!!

Anyways, love 'ohana - it's one of our favorites!!

You know what they say about lapu lapus...."One and you're happy. Two and you're invisible...." (I saw that on the Poly thread once and it cracked me up!!)

Looks like you had a great time at PF! I cannot wait for that meal--I think it will be great. It is a first for everyone on our trip--a rarity!

I am really considering driving the mornings we have places we have to be at because I hate being late.

DHS: Gorgeous photos of an empty DHS! Wow, a mostly empty TSMM line--unheard of! I am glad it worked out well timing wise for you to be there among the first. Silly lady, thinking she could push past you. What a great experience at ToT (once you got past the CM). So glad Josie loved it!!

Sounds like it was a perfect cap off of a great day when you got together with Mary at the resort.

Sounds like you had another fantastic Disney day! Josie is my kinda girl!!! Emily is soooo excited to go on ToT! Everytime we get into an elevator she puts her hands in the air and screams. She's practicing for the ride!!!

The evening with Mary & family sounds like fun! We're planning on eating at Ohana's for the first time this December. That pineapple drink will definitely be on the menu!

I'm so happy you and Mary were able to catch up with Megan, you guys really hit the disser jack pot this trip!

I love how Josie is enjoying all the big girl rides!
Ashton and I were sitting here going through your updates and he says that is my friend Jo-ie. He cracked up with the one of her with the stepmother and then when Lindsey and Josie are dancing with the H&V characters.

Sounds like great seats for the LMA show, how great was that!

I can't believe the CM gave you grief about Josie riding ToT?! How annoying!! I'm so glad that she liked it!! Yummy O'hana!! I just love that place!! I always leave there soooo stuffed but happy!!

We love O'hana too! I had a ressie there for this coming trip but we let Lindsey redo all the ressies and she didn't want to go there. I'm going to miss it for sure!!

I am mad that I didn't get a pic of me and Mary AGAIN! You'd think I would have learned something from last year.

I didn't know that you could do an official measurement. I need to check that out. We are leaving in less than 10 days now! I can't wait!!!

The boys with their pineapples was so funny. You should've seen Mary's Cayley trying to get some. She just couldn't understand why she couldn't have some pineapple too. It really was super fun!

How funny that you won't do ToT. Josie is ready to do it again!

The CM made me uncomfortable, but I have to say she was perfectly safe and wasn't scared so it shouldn't have bothered me one bit.

We were at O'hana for awhile since we were part of big group. The pineapples didn't take the boys too long. You could really tell the difference between #1 and #2 though.

Thanks B! We did have a lot of fun. The quick stop by the pool was awesome. You get so sweaty in the parks and that quick little dip can make you feel so much better almost instantly.

We are huge O'hana fans as well. Love the lapu lapu saying! Yeah, the CM must of had an issue with the ride. He was emphatic almost to the point of being annoying. Josie only had a weird look for the first drop. After that it was screams and giggles.

We will be in MI the weekend of Aug. 7. My friend Steph is getting married in Warren at 5:30pm. I plan to get into town on Friday afternoon and stay through Sunday. Not sure where we are staying just yet. We need to get together for sure!

You will love 1900PF. It's a fun place. The fun outweighs the average food. Be sure to interact with the characters. They really play it up!

Apparently everyone got in line for fastpasses first for TSM. Mary's DH said there were some technical difficulties with the machines when they first got there. That line was huge. By the time we exited the ride, it was nonexistant so we stuck our normal passes in and got some for later.

Ashton cracks me up! We need to figure out when we can get the kids together again. Sounds like they both talk about each other often. Maybe we can meet in Gatlinburg sometime since you don't know when Danny will let you plan the next WDW trip.
