How are the crowds?? Did this make the crowds crazy, or was this just a way to bump crowds back to normal attendance??

I will be there soon, so I am also wondering....any trip
reports or news from the front yet??

Anyone stay at the Yacht Club? Is it packed?

Please, somebody down there must be on line?

Safari Steve, where are you when we need the scoop?

I spoke to a friend that is at CBR this week. She said it is not bad at all! I couldn't believe it. She said the longest they have waited is 30 minutes and mostly their wait has been around 15 minutes. She said they walked right on to Pooh and the other Fantasyland rides.

I got an email about this the other day.
I think that the effects crowd-wise have been overblown in a major way. We're somewhere near "normal" summer crowds, but it's nothing phenomenal.

Thank you so much Safari Steve! We'll be there in seven days!

According to a friend who is an accountant at Marriott Corp. WDW profits were down 20% last year. Maybe this has contributed to lower crowds. So even with the FTP incentives the crowds may not be more than we have seen in the past, if that.

Backwards... how would lower profits contribute to fewer people buying things? Rather, lower attendance has caused less profit.

We just returned today from a week's stay under the Fairtytale
Package.

The hotels are crowded. Someone in Check out told us that they are starting to work double shifts to keep up with the demand.

Seems everyone was headed to a water park or the pool. It was hot and humid everyday. We stayed at All Star SPorts and drove past Blizzard Beach everyday. BB usually closed around noon and opened again between 2-3 pm due to capacity per a sign listed at the entrance and referring you to Typhoon Lagoon. Someone told us that one of the slides at BB had a 2 hr wait. The pools were packed from early morning until midnight every day. We went Tuesday. 7/8 to BB we arrived soon after opening and left about 12:30 it had gotten too crowded to enjoy.

As always the most popular rides had 45-55 minute wait which is normal for this time of year both during the day and at night.

We participated in both e nights. Tuesday 7/8 11 pm - 2 am
was not that crowded, Friday, 7/11 had more of a crowd.

If you have any questions, I will try to answer them.

We just returned from an eleven day stay and I thought the MK was insanely crowded the whole time we were there. We tried EE at MK one time and there were so many people it wasn't worth getting there for. The only time we found the crowds died down were on the nights they were open late and alot of people left after the first parade. We were there two summers ago at the same time and this trip there were tons more people(mostly at MK).
