Now that I'm going to RPR

Walking never talk more than 10 minutes, slow pace. The walkway lets you out right by Jimmy Buffet's Margrittaville which is just outside the gates to IOA. The boats are advertised to run every 20 minutes so if your timing is good the boats would be shorter if it leaves when you get there, otherwise walking is quicker.

What is the quickest or easiest way to get to the parks?
If you are staying at RPR and get Front of the Line (FOTL) privileges, don't worry too much about "quickest." The "easiest" depends on your physical condition.

:boat:It has been my experience that taking the water taxi from RPR is the best way to Universal Studios. The taxi drops me off in the center of CityWalk and I walk in a northerly direction to the Studios entrance. If I walk south, I head to Islands of Adventure, basically backtracking the boat ride halfway.

:cool1:I hate to backtrack, so if I'm heading to Islands of Adventure to begin with, I simply stroll along the lagoon from RPR to the south end of City Walk at Margaritaville. A left turn at Margaritaville takes me over the bridge and up to the entrance to IOA.

So that's how we do it: On the days we go to Universal Studios, we take the water taxi. On the days we go to Islands of Adventure, we stroll along the lagoon.

In neither case do we hurry. Using the room key card to get FOTL privileges has us spoiled! :snooty:

There is also a bus you can take from RPR. It would only be good for getting to US as it drops you off behind the Hard Rock Hotel, just steps away from US.

You have received good advise already but I wanted to point out that quickest and easiest can be two separate things. We once raced from the seventh floor of Tower 1 to MIB and made it in 25 minutes but it wasn't easy! In my last 3 stays I have found the bus is the easiest and sometimes it is the fastest to USO.
