I was grateful the heat wave will be over next week for my trip... but I see rain in the forecast for Saturday and Sunday 11/4 and 5. What are your favorite ways to stay dry? I'll be rocking my poncho and have no intention of staying in my hotel room on our last day, but any tips? We have WOC dessert party reservations on Saturday, will that change things at all?

Just wear your poncho and have at it! If there's a downpour, step into the nearest shelter. Or, like us, just shrug and carry on!

On a more practical note and depending on the temps, either wear flip flops and just get wet feet (they'll dry, trust me) or wear your most water resistant shoes and bring extra socks. Or do both and rent a locker for whatever you aren't wearing.

Weather report I see says 5mm on Sunday. I think you will be okay.

If the forecast gets worse and you plan to be there all day I would just suggest bringing extra socks.

We love going n the ran, it keeps the crowds lower. I’ll be there 11/4 also! We just throw a hat on and call it good :)

California rainstorms are definitely different than Florida rainstorms. We don't have the humidity, so it is easier to dry off once the rain has stopped. But the ground can become more slippery, as grease/dirt accumulates in between storms (Disney tries to prevent this by hosing off the pavement every morning, but that doesn't always do the trick; I often feel I'm about to slip when walking on the street around the Hub).

Don't know if this will happen for you, but when we get storms, we really get storms! Like we will go 6 months without rain, then have it rain constantly for 3 days.

Disneyland becomes a ghost town in the rain, and it's magical to be there!
That Sunday is Dapper Day so doubtful the rain will keep anyone away! Disneyland in the rain is fun as long as you have the right attitude. Just look at it as a fun adventure and at least you don't need to deal with the heat and sunscreen!

I just wear my poncho and rubber rain boots....then no wet feet or socks!

I will also be in the parks on Saturday and am watching the weather closely! I will pack rain boots for the kids if it looks like rain all day.

Rain in southern California is rarely severe enough to impact your trip much. Just wear ponchos and waterproof shoes. Bring a spare change of clothes or at least have some extras at your hotel. Embrace it. It usually means slightly lower crowds.

Thanks for the feedback... I'm from Seattle, so when I see rain forecasted it usually means RAIN. :)

Yep. Some of our best days have been rainy days. Once it was raining so hard, we were in ponchos and rain gear, and were drenched while waiting for the shuttle to the park. The kids wanted to go on Grizzly River Rapids first, i said sure, why not, can't get any more wet. The CMs just let us stay on the boat a few times because there was literally no one else in line. Many other rides were walk on.
