Look in the siggie! Took this of a friend's dog over spring break. She posted it into the local newspaper's galleries w/ all of the other spring break pics. 3 weeks later it showed up on the back page of the Lifestyles section. WOW! I've never been published before!?!:cool1:

PS I know that the pic in the siggie is too big, but I don't have a post count high enough to add links!?!

Here are a few from my recent trip to Charleston. We visited The Drayton House and I got some cool Infrared photos. I applied a dreamy sepia action to these.

Very nice!! I've always been interested in the infrared look. Adds a surreal touch to a "normal" scene!

Very cool pictures. Would you mind sharing exactly how you did this?

Thanks, I use Sony camera that has a special nightshot mode. That combined with a Infrared filter and a little photoshoping produces these images.

We-Luv-Disney, those are some very cool looking photos.
Thank You!

Heres another infrared image. Shot from the graveyard at the Circular Church in Charleston.

I am going to try to bring back this thread that I thought was great. It died about a month ago. Here are some from my favorites from the past week.

The pictures here are amazing. I love looking through them all. I just got my first dslr the rebel xti, and would love to join in as I experiment. I've only been using auto and playing with the program modes a little, and all with the kit lens. I want to take some time off from work to play more. Here's a few of mine. I'm very much a beginner, and am planning to take a course down the road, but would love any advice and suggestions you have to offer.
