Anybody know what this tree is called?

It blooms late April, early May every year, the blooms last a couple days and then it is covered in reddish leaves for the rest of the summer.

I don't know the name but these are great pictures! :thumbsup2

Thank you! :worship:

I took them today...:teeth:
i don't know but could it be a double crabapple? i don't know if they grow in Fl or when they would bloom there. the tree shape reminds of one but the leaves look a little to chubby...you might post and ask on the garden board

I see shots like this and I see why my wife wants a better camera....

Thanks for that comment. I know the feeling. I love my S2 and A70 obviously, they both have just hit the 10,000 shots mark! But my DH got me the Rebel XTI for Christmas and I have just started to really play with it. This castle pic was handheld....wish I had a tripod that night.

OK ALL...sorry if there are too many pics..
1 more sleep till I test out my new camera @ the World...:rolleyes1
Feel free to critique...please:goodvibes
Also...I have the "image quality" on "basic". Do you think I need to change it for a better quality?? Won't be enlarging other than message board or e-mail. Your thoughts are welcome !!:grouphug:

Took these yesterday, testing my CP filter on the clouds..nice to finally see the differences..

My great husband just got me an S3 for our anniversary and we went downtown to try it out - happened upon a wedding at the Battery (Charleston, SC) - I was trying out the zoom feature and got some great shots of the couple/ceremony - I was sitting on a bench in the park - the gazebo shot will give you an idea of how far I was - the zoom worked awesome!! You can see the detail on his belt! Picture 3 is right after the kiss - I wasn't fast enough - darn new camera with new fangled pieces and parts! LOL But I still like the end results.

Keep in mind that these photos have been resized and optimized for posting, but the originals are SO CLEAR - I got their contact info and will be sending them on to the couple - the lady with them gave me her email addy. It was just the couple, the justice of the peace and a friend who was videoing the wedding. They left by horse-drawn carriage and I was even farther away for that shot. I think I might be ready to join the papparazzi! LOL

I felt totally weird taking their pictures, but when you get married in the middle of a public park - I guess that's always a possibility - it's not like I burst into the church and went running down the aisle snapping away.
