I love taking pictures, and as soon as we get a BIG check we are expecting I am going out and getting a really nice digital!!! These pictures were taken with a Sony Cybershot DSC-W5.

Nice set of photos!! But WHAT is this???? Looks like a home made bomb or something..... :scared1: :scared1: Can't tell if the shells are used!

Can you say bomb on the Dis cause you can't say it on a plane...:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

:lmao: I didn't even think of that...geez I even picked the thing up...the shells were used and it looked like it was a peanut butter jar...:scared1:
 
I was wondering if those of you who post on this thread would mind including some information with your photos, like what kind of camera you used, whether on auto or manual settings (and if manual, what settings). Just trying to get a handle on what to expect when I start taking my own digital pics . . .

Great idea, pain the patutee though. Most of the photos can give EXIF data given the right reader. If you use Internet Explorer you can use Opanda IEXIF Reader. it's freeware. Right click on the picture and the info is displayed.

If you use Foxfire (I like it better) you have to download the FF extension
 
full (or almost so) moon tonight and some cloud cover gave me the first moon shots i have ever taken that well look like something other than a big white blob:) i focused on the moon then since the clouds were flying by got the blur from their movement plus the cloud cover let me use a longer exposure than i think that bright of moon normally would

My turn! Today was my birthday, so I took the day off work and went to Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh to see the spring flower show. The theme this year is "Proverbs and Familiar Sayings." All were taken with my Canon S3IS on Program mode. Straight out of the camera, didn't have time to play with Photoshop.
