When I was a child my parents could never afford disney. My mother threw her back out nursing and went back to college around the same time I started college. She took art and teaching, I took computer science and theatre. Anyway, she finished up before I did, and with both her and Dad working they have more money.

She'd been hearing about my trip plans for awhile now ( being poor students Lindsay and I can only afford this September honeymoon trip causehe won $10,000 ) and today Mom told me they are planning on going in July 2007!

I had to set her straight on some details though. Looks like the TA she was talking to had NO IDEA. She told her you can't swim at BB or TL and that it costs EXTRA to go on pirates of the carabean when you're in MK! Needless to say I'll be refering her to my TA, who I tested using my gathered knowledge from the DIS boards. She's been to disney many times herself and knew what was what!

Now I just have to figure out when my second trip will be, after I get my first job and more money.

I understand though. My DM&D IL are always going on trips that we have to scrimp for.

I did, she's a teacher and says that July would work out best because she has to be back teaching in late august.

It's either that or christmas break for her.

She also said she's scared of hurricanes... which happen in July too, but I guess are more frequent in august/sept? I just got trip insurance to cover that, lol.
