The beers on the menu don't appeal to me, and I hate paying so much for a glass of wine (almost as much as a whole bottle would cost in some stores), so I would probably skip them.

The beers on the menu don't appeal to me, and I hate paying so much for a glass of wine (almost as much as a whole bottle would cost in some stores), so I would probably skip them.

My guess is they've added them for DDP users who were complaining they couldn't get their alcoholic entitlement in MK. Getting OOP people to buy them will just be icing on the cake for Disney.

I hope so too. It's irritating to have a dining plan that includes alcohol at a park that barely offers it.

I'm the opposite of many on here. While I love a good beer and wine, Walt Disney set the rule of no alcohol in Disneyland for a reason. That was carried over to the Magic Kingdom. Alcohol was allowed at the other parks as well as California Adventure. I'd prefer to keep it that way. When visiting MK or DL I can handle a day at the park without alcohol. It seems more Disney to me. The way Walt intended people to enjoy his park.

We rarely drink until dinner time and since there is currently no place that I want to eat at in MK I can follow Walt's vision with ease.
Once the kiddos are in bed all bets are off and out comes the bottle of Drambuie and maybe a ciggie or two as well!

Well yes but Club 33 has never been open to the general public. It's a private exclusive club. Walt intended it for entertaining dignitaries and corporate sponsors of Disneyland.

I agree with you! Walt Disney's vision was for an alcohol free park. It saddens me that the decision makers have moved away from those ideals.
