Now i'm really bummed... (Indiana Jones rehab)

Lucky me to have gotten to ride it our one day in May...and ride we did.
First ride (using a tour fast pass), then back again and then on the third time in the evening we got stuck near the end on a very down pitched part of the ride for about 15 miniutes. After that, they let us ride it for as long as we wanted (I think we went twice and then some of us got tired of it, but not me........;)

Sorry for anyone missing Indy...it 's my fav. But now that SM has been redone, it is totally awesome!!!!!

We leave in 4 days for our first DL trip. I was looking forward to this ride. I guess I will keep expectations low and plan for it to be down. If it happens to be up and running we will consider ourselves lucky.

On mouseplanet someone posted that it was an error on the site and has been fixed. I also saw it mentioned (there or on the other one) that it might be running at only half capacity...yeehaw, even longer lines. :faint:

And of course it's OFF the Disneyland calendar refurbishment list....

Anything can happen of course, but I think that people can stop being depressed ahead of time now.

That is a good one! and I second that recommendation! :)

Maybe they just noticed how pissed people were and decied to hold off, or maybe it was an error by who ever inputed the info, or maybe they just did a quick fix to make it be able to run through till sept-oct time????? Maybe its like small world its has to get redone to "accomadate" our growing waist lines lol and thats why it will be running at half capcity :confused3 ..... It would suck if they did close it down durning a busy time but for me if they closed it and fixed it so it didn't break 20-30 times a day that would be worth closing it down!!!

So its going to be back in October?!!

Thats when ill be there and ill be totally bummed as we're coming all the way from Australia!! This is once in a lifetime and i reeeeally hope its back up!

YEA!! Its off the rehab schedule for my trip. LOL Just thinking, if this was just someone's mistake on some computer I wonder if they know the panic they set off across the internet. :rotfl:

they wont put oct dates up till next month but i hope it was all just a mess up and the ride will be up in oct too

I am so glad to hear they took it off the list. Hoping to ride it at least 3 times on my next trip.

Sweet! My son, who has become quite the Indy fan, will be excited to here to great news.:thumbsup2

I sure hope it was error! We will be there next week and are looking forward to it. We don't care if the line is slower or they only run it at half capacity as long as it runs.

Disneyland is usually really on top of things about when to close something down. They closed POTC for the refurb and plussing before the POTC 2 was released. For that reason, I don't think IJA was ever supposed to show up as closed on the Disneyland website. I don't think they had any plans to close it at all this summer, but a mistake happened and it got listed as closed.

It's one thing if circumstances force them to close it(ala Big Thunder a few years ago), but I don't think they suddenly changed their minds after the backlash of disappointed and/or outraged guests planning a visit to Disneyland.

DGF received this, just a moment to log on..

We were there June 5 - 11. The first 3 days it was broken EVERY time we stopped by. Once we were in line, the other times there were long lines of people already in line when it broke. We got automatic fast passes by going to City Hall and complaining and did get to ride it. But it was not worth the 30 minute FAST PASS wait. We rode it the 4th day and were not impressed honestly.

I wouldn't doubt that it broke with that track record for that week.
