Now I really do need your help - 5 days to spare

Hiya guys.

Right here goes, now we have our flights booked we have 6 days to spare at the beginning of our holidays before we can check in at SSR.

We'd love to travel a little around the area and see maybe a little more of what Florida has to offer. We've spent a bit of time in Clearwater during our past visits so that's maybe an option for us? My concern is, is that we don't arrive into Florida until 6pm so we could really do with locating a hotel near to the airport for the first night if we are planning on driving elsewhere the next day.

Would love to go to the Florida keys, but am thinking that maybe a drive a little to far?

We are a family of 6 so accomodation fitting us all in can sometimes prove troublesome

Anna Maria island Is lovely - no high rise buildings, lots of nice non chain places to eat.

I think a lot of people who stay there rent an apt/house - that may work for the size of your party.

How old are your children?

That's exactly where I have been researching this evening. It looks absolutely beautiful

Our children are ds11, ds10, ds7 and dd5.

I've got my heart set on going there now so just trying to find accomodation

We've been to Anna Maria Island several times over the years - it is a lovely place.

Never stayed there though - hope someone can suggest somewhere nice to stay.

If you are a shopper Ellenton Outlets enroute from Orlando is well worth a visit.
