Okay fellow disboarders, make me feel like less of an addict! Just got back from a trip to DL last weekend, am going in December for a family reunion and now I just booked a long weekend in November! I keep getting incredible airfare I just cannot pass up! Our kids are whooping it up just happy to have wacko parents. Honestly, I really think DH and I are just round the bend. Did I mention that we are going to WDW in October? Does anybody else here do crazy stuff like this? I know some of you live in California, but we live in Denver for Pete's sake! Guess, maybe I'll just wind up in the poor house with a lot of happy Disneyland memories.

I would say you are lucky!

Believe me, my husband is the one that keeps me from going over the edge. We live about 7-hours away by car and I am SO tempted.

However, my husband makes sure we fly half way across the country to see our families. If it wasn't for him.... I would have us taking disney trips all the time and we would probably be disowned by our families.

I have been planning a dream trip to WDW for oh about 4 years now. I think it is probably about two years from happening. A girl's allowed to dream... right?

ENVIOUS!

<<-- hasnt found wonderful airfare so I'm stuck in Utah :)

I am trying to head down in either Oct or Nov we shall see if *THAT* works.. -em

Not crazy just addicted ;) :teeth: :earsgirl:
We live 6 hours away and up until last year went once a year, twice if we were lucky. Then last year, I took my boys in April, w/o hubby & budgeted the trip sooooo well that I upgraded to AP's on the last day, good thing cause we went back in May, then back in July(adults only! woohoo)then went back in Dec. PLUS, we did our first family trip to WDW in August!!(two weeks after my July trip)

This year we're even worse so far! We went in July, then two weeks later in July, then 2 weeks later in August! And I'm going(again just the girls!)in Oct. and then we are all going in Nov. for the little one's bday! Plus, since we got AP's again, I can guarantee there will be a couple more times! LOL:hyper: Like, next May and July:hyper: for sure!

Have a GREAT time on all your trips! Just refer to it as "The Year of the Mouse" to other people!:earsboy:

I am out of control as well....many, many trips each year. And I do live about 40 minutes away but we stay on site for 2-4 nights 3 or 4 times a year to really experience all of the "magic". We are staying at PP for four nights in October and as a matter of fact I am going to DL/DCA just for the day by myself tomorrow:)

But honestly, if I lived out of state, there is no way I would have the time/money/ambition to go as much as I do. Kudos to you Amy&Dan, you win the most addicted award:Pinkbounc

But I think that is a good thing:)

Well, you might be crazy, but it's a crazy I can understand! I hope you have AP's...remember, you can upgrade your tickets to AP's if you need to!

Oh yeah defintely got the AP's. That's the problem, gotta get my money's worth! Hey Blackunicorn, I got $700 airfare for four people out of Denver into Ontario. They are having a sale this weekend for travel thru December 15. Ontario was the only airport I could get the fare into however. Oh one more sidenote to my addictioin. My father in law lives in Orange County. We have never had a close relationship, my kids hardly knew him. Well since we have been going to Disneyland with him (he got an AP too) we have developed a really great relationship. He is in kind of poor health and I am just so thankful to have this time with him. My kids have year round school so we can go off season. However, with all the hype for the 50th I am not sure we will renew in 2005 because I hate crowds, so we have until April to do some more serious damage. Thanks all for making me feel like less of a weirdo!

If you are crazy, then we must be nuts. Two East Coast retirees here thinking of buying Disneyland Annual Passes so we can make two trips in 2005, maybe 3.
The pin event, DL 50th, and NFFC are calling our names.

Thanks for thinking of us, Amy&Dan! But we like to drive--my DH's family is in Northern CA, so we go to Disney then drive up to visit them. We're so excited! We're leaving Saturday!:bounce:
