Now I have my kids watch....

HI DIS Friends,


As a pre-trip, I now have my children watch House of Mouse and other Playhouse Disney shows on the Disney channel every morning and afternoon. My kids really didn't know Goofy and Pluto, etc.

Also, we watch a different Disney movie video every Friday night with Dad to get excited about going on our trip.

And I'm buying Disney Princess cereals for my daughter as well.


Does anyone else do this many months before their trip?

LOL We do this ALL the time. We are a Disney household that's for sure!!

I do this too! We don't have any kids, but DH and I watch old home movies from previous trips, catch Disney specials on TV, and are always talking about what we're going to do.

People must find us so boring in social situations before we go - all we can talk about is Disney!

Yes we do! We watch planning tapes and a bunch of stuff we've taped on previous trips to WDW.Pumba and Timon cereal was on the menu here!!! LOL!

Anticipation is half the fun of a vacation to WDW!!

We do the same thing here. Look at all the old pictures/scrapbooks, watch specials behind the scenes that we've taped off Food Network and Travel Channel, etc...you get the picture!!

I make Mickey Waffles and we watch the Disney cruise and park planning DVD's every weekend!!!

I'ts a great way to get in the Disney mood!!!!

We bought one of the Dinseyland sing a long videos. It shows the characters running around the parks singing classic Disney tunes. I am hoping this will get my littls DS used to how the characters look before we go. It worked for DD!
The music and the seeing the rides gets me so excited I could cry. SEE!

We spend a lot of time singing the songs from attractions to take away some of my 3 year old's fear of the unknown. We also eat the Pumba and Timon cereal - but ds calls it "Yucky Charms". I think he has a future in advertising!!
