I keep reading about menu changes to many of the different WDW restaurants!

Checking at Allears.net, I have noticed two of my favorite foods are gone!
That maple BBQ filet mignon at Le Cellier
And the Libertarian Cake at LTT.

I really want to cancel both of those ressies now, that just pisses me off!!!

At Le Cellier, it's not the I loved it beyond belief I just love the filet mignon but I will never eat mushrooms if you paid me! I love red meat though so I'm just a little upset that I really only have one choice of steak now- the NY Strip.

At LTT, it was the thing that made me want to go back, period. The food is OK but I cannot resist a good lava cake. The other food is like something I could make at home so LTT is somewhere I won't go back to now.

I have 2 dinner ressies for Le Cellier in September both at VERY desirable times, I almost wonder if people keep telling me to cancel just so they can snag the spot... YEAH FREAKING RIGHT!

Then go ahead and cancel them.......I am sure someone else will be more than happy to take them.

Menu changes can be a bummer when you find something you really like, but on the other hand.. it gives the opportunity to try new things, and maybe you'll find a new favorite!

It sounds like the best thing for you to do is cancel. Menu items change all the time. It's certainly not something I would spend the energy being angry over (I've got other things that make me do that:lmao: )

I've worked in restaurants for 18 years and there are always unhappy/upset people when a menu change occurs. It might be your favourite meal but most changes occur when an item just doesn't sell. I look at a menu change as chance to try new things and find new fav's. If you don't like to try new/different dishes then you should cancel.

But sometimes certain words just explain it the best :goodvibes . Angry, mad, irritated ... don't always have the same punch. (But not in front of the kids please ;) ).

I completely understand...Vent away sweetheart...

Good, I am glad SOMEONE noticed it was just venting. I have two prime dinner spots at Le Cellier and I am not about to give those up!!! Plus, I am not the only one going.

AND, SINCE WHEN WAS PISS A "POTTYMOUTH" WORD, LOL.

Well I am over it now anyway, I was only VENTING. I make better lava cake anyway at home and it's not like there is nothing else to eat at Le Cellier.

Now, if the Almond-crusted cheesecake inspired by the Year Of A Million Dreams disappears at Narcoossee's, I'm going to cry. It's sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good, and I hate nuts!

I have to admit, I really missed the maple creme brulee at LeCellier during our Christmas trip.

I have worked in as a waitress since I was 16 until a few months before I got married when I was 22. I worked in a restaurant similar to the California Grill in that the menu was ever changing due to freshness of local fare and what was in season. I had to deal with customers who would be beyond irrate that their favorite pan seared chinook salmon wasn't in season anymore and they'd have to wait for next year, for example. So believe me, I 300% understand that menus change.

Well hello Allison, I'm Alison... with one L. :)

Ohhhhhhhhhh... I loved that maple creme brulee, I didn't know it was gone. And I saw the 'smores weren't there anymore either. :sad1: Oh well, what are you going to do huh? The chocolate on chocolate whiskey cake is still there though!!!

The good (maybe) news is I saw a picture of a recent menu that showed the maple creme brulee on there so maybe it's back???? I'm not sure.

I'm sure if I make enough trips back, I can find new favorites.:rotfl:

Since the OP changed the thread title, I edited my post, too!

I hope you'll find something new to like at Le Cellier! I'll be there for lunch in 11 days, and I'm looking forward to it. :)

AND, SINCE WHEN WAS PISS A "POTTYMOUTH" WORD, LOL.

Since, um, forever?

I'm actually surprised the site let the word through.

Menu changes are pretty important to me, too, being vegetarian. We don't even have a trip planned yet, but I was really looking forward to the one entree on Coral Reef's menu...now that entree has changed and sounds rather disgusting. So I get the vent. But it's still a naughty word.

Umm, isn't it something that is usually done into a POTTY? If it comes out of a mouth then that would make the speaker a "Pottymouth" in my mind. If it's typed I guess it's really more like "potty-typing."
