Lisu - I am sorry that this has not worked out for you yet. I understand how you feel trying to explain this to a child must less the hurt you feel from the people you thought were friends. Three people from our family played for over 15 hours the last few days helping friends and trying to get just one set for our family to share. DH called in sick to work this morning because the lack of sleep finally caught up with him.

Edit to add - Pink rarely plays with me even though I am an adult. More power to her if she can pick and chose who she wants to play with, whatever her reasons may be.

It's absolutely ridiculous for people to say they don't trust kids to do this.

Stick together with your team - kid, teen, adult, whatever.

Adults flake just as much as kids - it's not about the age, it's about the person. if someone helps you out, stay around and return the favor. However, to say kids don't understand that it ludicrous.

And Lisu, if you need help, let me know if you have a team, if you need a team, etc. We got our entire group through pirates, along with some others who need help. We have a few other friends who have asked for help that we need to assist, but I am sure we can pull together for 1 more if you need it.

I totally resent this statement. I have roughly about 140 ADULTS on my friend's list. Am I supposed to play with each and every one of you every day????

I have the freedom to choose who I want on my team. Not just for my sake, but for the sake of my entire team! I have put through more people than I can count now through this stinking pirates quest, and guess what... I NEVER HAD ANYONE QUIT THE GAME ON ME!! NOT ONE! You ask why I'm so "picky"... THAT'S WHY!!

I have read some pretty sad stories of teams not sticking together. I chose carefully and wisely.

Do what you want. I stand by my decision.

If anyone is upset at Pink for the way she's been playing the game the last few days, I'm sorry, but your anger could not be any more misdirected.

I personally saw her help a lot of people get past pirates when she wasn't even done with the quest herself. When she got hung up on Jungle Cruise she went back to help more people through pirates. After she did finish her quest she was back here tonight helping more people through. She was methodic about it and it paid off by helping the max number of people finish the quest.

Some kids did benefit in Pink's games because adults played for their kids. I'm one of those. We've all had a frustrating last few days. Let's not take it out on each other.

I did not direct my comment specifically towards anyone. I too have spent the last 2 days completely helping others through this incredible challenge, both kids and adults alike. Clearly, anyone is welcome to select who they play with at any and all times.

Lisu, I was on one of the teams with you this morning and I'm sorry I didn't stick around but it was just a mess. I think Pink is right on the money about picking and choosing teams. After trying several who all didn't seem very organized or know what the strategy was, I decided to only go with ppl on my friends list that I knew well. In fact, Pink and crew are the ones who helped me through pirates. I stand behind her picking teams criteria 100% because it is no nonsense and saves time. I too was starting to feel like I needed to choose adults only. I know there are kids who are mature but for those of us who don't have time to play all day, we just can't waste time on the possibility that some kid is going to cut and run because they won or their mom called them for dinner, you know? Fwiw, I didn't win the quest anyway, but that's my two cents about all of it....

Lisu, in the end, if something like this happens again, I would suggest being way more selective and hooking up with ppl you know. That can be easier said than done but even if it means waiting longer to play I think it is the best way to go.

I know it doesn't matter much now that the quest is over, but our team did decide to take on new players when others weren't available and not one person advanced through pirates. We tried getting as many people through as we could and it was awful having to turn down requests for help, but it's just how it had to be to get that horrendous score.

And that was one of the worst things about task #16 - SO MANY people still needed help, but physically there was just not enough time to get to everyone. I feel like I've let so many people down, as I'm sure you do too. But we just couldn't do it in such a short amount of time (cut even shorter, I might add...)

My guess is that tonight will be an early to bed night for a LOT of ppl. Don't be too hard on yourself. It was a questionable statement that I originally thought was in support of you, but then had to think about it, but that confused me knowing friend's personality... Kudos to both of you for rectifying the misunderstanding and saving a friendship. AND for all the help you gave to everyone. Should there ever be anothe disaster such as this, I think many of us will be better prepared and efficient (primarily clicking to enter lobby at the same time so the line keeps moving-what a joy it was to play Mon. morning!).

I'm just thankful they gave that awesome miniquest for those who knew the other was impossible for their abilities!
