So we are getting ready to go soon and I have a few things left to do.....

Like pack..............

Also when I pull them out of school and they wonder "why" how should I tell them.

What are some great ways to surprise them as they come into the office...

I would love some ideas.....

Thanks so much!
Holly

You could always be wearing a pair of Mickey ears, and have Disney t-shirts for them ready to wear. That should give them a pretty good idea. Enjoy your trip!

My friend went in to pick up her kids. Her husband was outside holding a sign that said "We're going to Disney World". They went straight to the airport

You could be waiting with their carry on bag in your hand and ask them if they can guess where you are going by what is in the carry on. That is what we did with our DDs - they didn't believe us until we got to the POP!:rotfl:

I made up "fake" admission tickets to WDW with Photoshop with pictures of our family imbedded in WDW. It was priceless handing my wife a little wrapped present and saying "I've got a little something for you.".

How old are your kids? Could you get away with not telling them until they are at the airport? I didn't do this for a Disney trip but I surprised my best friend with her bachelorette party trip to New Orleans. We literally didn't tell her til we were at the airport and she saw the sign on the terminal...then we pulled out the Mardi Gras beads for her to wear!

Ha! I did this with my kids a few years ago and they were 15 and 9:goodvibes We packed the camper and told the kids we were going to spend a week in Florida :lmao: Since we left early, they slept in the car most of the way down there and never even noticed where we were until we rolled onto the WDW campus:rotfl2: They walked around wide-eyed and disoriented for about 30 minutes after we parked--they couldn't believe it! I couldn't believe I kept it a secret!

The greatest part was when I took them on a tour of Ft. Wilderness, just in time to see Granny step off the bus. :yay: She flew to Orlando to spend a week with us--her first trip to Disney World. The kids thought they had died and gone to heaven.
