The is a room discount rumored to be coming out on Aug 1, possibly July 29 for Visa holders. No details on specific covered dates though.

I don't understand it either. Last time I started the free dining and room only threads and the dining thread totally overwhelmed the room thread....so much so that it was the third most popular thread of the entire month. I know free dining is extremely popular, but not everyone has it available for their dates.

I've heard some people get Early 2014 pins (roughly Jan-Mar/Apr) in another thread 35% off Dlx Villas and Dlx resorts 30% at mod 25% at value and something else that I can't recall...

Count me in Oct 31-Nov 10. We are staying at AoA and purchasing APs. We usually eat 2 table service meals a day, so I think a TIW card with room only discount will actually be better deal for us

This is a great start! Even though I'm not sure if I'll be able to get a room discount, I will feel a lot of relief once the discount comes out so I'm not playing the guessing game. Has anyone been the week following Jersey week? I was reading a trip report from last year and the woman said it was packed! I know it's going to be busy the first few days we are there since it's the marathon, end of Jersey week and F&W and Veterans day weekend. I just really hope the crowds will die down come Monday or Tuesday! We always go during the slower times but this week was our only option for this trip.

I am trying to decide if I want to take the free dining promo coming out or a room discount. I am flying solo next trip, my dates are pretty flexible: late October or early November. I would stay at AS Music so get the quick service plan. That is a lot of food for just me.

We're not going until Jul 2014, but I'm all about RO discounts as well. I already have the AAA discount, and I'm hoping for the military discount to be renewed, but I'd certainly look at buying an AP for myself if that becomes available.

Free dining just isn't a bargain for us when a good RO discount is available.

We are usually waiting for free dining because it can be a great deal...but we have annual passes this year because of taking 2 disney trips...did the math and it wouldn't pay for us to buy the required tickets for just quick service and to upgrade we might as well use that money to eat on....

I hope the discount is at least 20% off, we are going back to All star Movies after staying at the Pop for years...
.last time we stayed at the movies was when we first learned of the Dis and codes...March 2001 we got the room for $49 a night can you believe that??? We were in shock that we could actually stay inside Disney, never dreamed that would happen and now we won't stay offsite gets ya kinda spoiled doesn't it?

How much is the AAA discount??
For our April stay we got 20% code off and that helped a lot...

our trip is Nov.9th-Nov.23rd
the whole family is going but just us staying onsite...got good deals from RCI for them ($209for 7 nights) but we still want to stay with the mouse...

AAA discounts vary, depending on the room type and season, but we got 15% off of our three AKL Savanna view rooms for 29 Jul - 8 Aug 2014.

Our goal is to have a 2BR at BLT, but we'll be thrilled with the rooms we have, if we can't get BLT.

I know they have made some changes...

we thought about a split stay and moving over to Little mermaid but they were not available....wonder why??
